Few weddings on earth compare to standing on a glacier, ringed by the Southern Alps, exchanging your vows in a world of white. Tyndall Glacier, reached by helicopter from Wānaka, offers exactly that — a pristine, otherworldly setting for the most memorable of days.
I arrange the glacier permit, the flight, hair and makeup, flowers, photography and even your certificate apostille, so everything is taken care of.

Frequently asked questions
Do we stand on actual glacier ice?
Yes — this is a genuine glacier landing on ice and snow, arranged under a DOC glacier permit and flown only when conditions are safe. Warm layers and grippy footwear are a must.
Is everything above board?
Completely. The landing is covered by my DOC concession (current through 2035) and full public liability insurance, and pricing is GST-inclusive with no hidden fees.
Is a helicopter wedding safe?
Yes. I work only with CAA-certified operators and hugely experienced alpine pilots, and every flight carries full insurance. The pilot always has the final say on the day — if conditions aren’t right to fly safely, we simply move to a beautiful alternative rather than take any risk. Your safety comes first, always.
