Elopement Timeline & Checklist

From first hello to “I do”

Here’s how the whole journey unfolds. I keep it simple, and I carry the weight of it for you.

1. Enquiry and planning call — we talk through your ideas, dates and location. Once your date is set, I can organise the entire elopement within 24 hours.
2. Booking and marriage licence — you apply online (issued in about 3 working days); most couples are legally ready within 7–8 days.
3. Getting ready — hair, makeup and the little details, arranged for you.
4. Arrival — for helicopter weddings, a safety briefing and weigh-in at the base.
5. The flight — your scenic journey to the ceremony site.
6. Your ceremony — vows, the signing of your licence, with two witnesses provided if you need them.
7. Photography — capturing it all.
8. The journey home — a return flight, or an optional second landing.
9. Afterwards — your celebrant lodges the paperwork, and I arrange your marriage certificate (and any apostille or authentication for your home country).

What I take care of

Everything else — hair and makeup, flowers, the helicopter, weather watching, your timeline, your celebrant and photographer, witnesses, licence checks, permits, safety and logistics. That’s my job, so the day feels effortless for you.
