The Remarkables are the mountains you see in every Queenstown photograph — a jagged ridgeline rising straight from the valley. To marry up there, with the whole of Queenstown spread beneath you, is unforgettable. A short flight takes you to the ridge, where you exchange your vows with only your celebrant and photographer beside you.
I arrange the flight, the timing, the licence and every detail, and make sure the day runs smoothly.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the flight to The Remarkables?
The whole experience is about three hours. The flight to the ridge takes only around ten minutes each way, and the helicopter time — flying plus waiting at the landing — totals about an hour and a quarter, leaving unhurried time for your ceremony and photography.
Can we marry here in winter?
The Remarkables is spectacular under snow from July onwards, subject to conditions and pilot approval. I don't fly in June.
Is a helicopter wedding safe?
Yes. I work only with CAA-certified operators and hugely experienced alpine pilots, and every flight carries full insurance. The pilot always has the final say on the day — if conditions aren’t right to fly safely, we simply move to a beautiful alternative rather than take any risk. Your safety comes first, always.
