Not every couple wants a helicopter — and this proves you don’t need one for a breathtaking day. A quiet spot on the shore of Lake Wānaka, the mountains reflected in still water, and the two of you exchanging vows in the soft alpine light.
I arrange your location, celebrant, licence, flowers and photography, so all you have to do is enjoy it.
What your day looks like
- A lakeside ceremony with your celebrant and photographer.
- A gentle, scenic photo session by the lake and nearby lookouts.
- An optional helicopter upgrade for extended alpine photography.
- A toast by the water to celebrate.

Frequently asked questions
Is this package good for just the two of us?
Perfectly. It's a relaxed, ground-level ceremony with no helicopter — simply the two of you (or up to four guests), your celebrant and your photographer, on the shore of the lake.
Can we add a helicopter photo flight?
Yes — an optional helicopter upgrade takes you up after the ceremony for an extended photo session over the lake and mountains. Ask me and I'll quote it for your date.
When is the best time for a lakeside wedding?
Lakeside ceremonies are lovely from around October to April, in the softer light of morning or late afternoon. I don't plan weddings in June.
